DEXs and whales

The average trade sizes on DEXs are much larger than trades on plain old centralized exchanges, according to a blog from research firm Kaiko:

  • Average trade size on DEX, Curve Finance is $500K to $1M
  • Trades on DEXs like Uniswap V3, Uniswap V2, SushiSwap, and Balancer V1 average between $10K to $20K
  • Trade size on centralized exchanges is $2K to $4K.
