If you haven’t noticed, Bitcoin has been on a bit of a tear lately.  Actually, like a lot.  It closed yesterday at around $16,700 from a 52-week low of around $4,100, according to prices from Yahoo Finance.
 
Ok, so people are piling in to bitcoin, what happened next?
 
Well, Coinbase is one of the biggest platforms for folks to buy and sell Bitcoin, and not unexpectedly, its website and app went down yesterday.  Lots of people were hitting buy, but nothing was happening.  That problem has since been fixed.
 
A little more unexpected was a tweet from a famous Game of Thrones’ actor and the reply from, yes, you guessed it, Elon Musk.
 
Maisie Williams is Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, in case you didn’t know (?).  She tweeted:

This sent off Twitter into a meme fest but also elicited this response from Elon Musk:
