Reflektion is an AI-powered personalization platform for the e-commerce retail space.  The company’s software brings the power of AI to the online shopping experience.

Like having a personal shopper online.  They are trying to replicate the experience that a shopper would have in-store with a salesperson that knows and understands what kinds of products you like and preferences you have. 

What’s the software do?
Reflektion uses AI to calculate an online customer’s preferences and intent.  It then responds with the most relevant content and products in real-time.  The platform works with the existing website and mobile architecture that a company has and enhances site search, product recommendations as well as category and landing pages.

Financing and the founder
The company recently raised $13.5 million with investors including London Technology Club to expand its footprint in the retail space and beyond.

Amar Chokhawala is the Founder and CEO and has indicated that Reflektion has been acquiring approximately 8.5 million new shopper IDs per month and “is the leading solution for high profile retail brands such as Chico's, Petco, Skechers, Ulta, RiteAid, and Reeds Jewelers.”

London Technology Club is an interesting investor with a unique angle.  They charge 8,000 to 25,000 pounds for membership in the club which includes the right to invest in the Club’s projects. The investment in Reflektion was the sixteenth investment by LTC in the past 12 months.
