Evil Ape Does Rug Pull on Evolved Apes

Evil Ape, the pseudonymous administrator of the Evolved Apes NFT project wallet absconded with $2.7M of the project’s money. 

Ok, we’ll unpack that for you.  Evolved Apes is a collection of 10,000 NFTs being sold on the NFT marketplace OpenSea.  They are described in the listing there as apes “fighting for survival, only the strongest ape will prevail,” and “trapped inside a lawless land.  The idea is they would be used in a fighting game that hasn’t been created yet.

That’s probably not going to happen now – the official Twitter account as well as the website of the project have also disappeared along with Evil Ape.
