Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, who have a combined 686M followers on Instagram, chidedthe social media giant with a veiled warning in a message which reads:

"Make Instagram Instagram again (stop trying to be TikTok. I just want to see cute photos of my friends). Sincerely, everyone.  PLEASEEEEEEE."  Hope they don’t get banned by Zuck.

The message comes as Meta is planning a major redesign of Facebook to prioritize on consumption versus connection – basically turning Facebook into a TikTok-style clone. 

As historical context, when Kylie Jenner announced she was leaving Snapchat back in 2018, people noticed, and the stock took a tumble.
